Life has obstacles at 10 just as it has at 30 and 50. The biggest difference isn't their scope, but how they affect you and how you handle them.

Life's battles are primarily fought inside your head. The idea is that when you mature, you gain the tools to overcome them and therefore, focus on enjoying life for all the good things it offers. But it's not easy--just ask any bitter old person.

It's all a matter of mood and perception to me, or at least that's what I'm thinking at this very moment.

    • I have noticed women of different ages are different in the way they treat me also. Generally I mean. I guess that could also be the same with men.

Depends on the person. I am 17 and feel like my life is the least crappy it's ever been since I was a very young child.

It's been a hell of a ride, still enjoying my youth.

I'll say mid to late 30's. That's where I'm at now and lately, life has been oh so grand.

    • Yeah. People in their 30s are not old but not so young that they have to put up with so much immaturity either.

I am somewhat immature for my age but the moment I became a parent many years ago, shit got put into perspective pretty quickly. I know what and who I can and/or can't take seriously. Parenthood isn't for everyone, but it sure as hell put things in their proper place for me, and I'm better for it.

        • Yeah, I won't ever have kids. To be honest I am not sure I want to. I am a very chilled out guy but have had too many women let me down. No offence meant by the way, I know not all women are like that.

No worries :) I never wanted kids either...until I got myself pregnant...
Well, I didn't literally get myself pregnant, ya know what I mean.

            • Yes, I know what you are saying. It has left me scared to get married. After some bad experiences and other things I have felt that women hate us men then at other times I feel more positive about how women feel about men. So… :(
