What age do you start taking people seriously?

There is a reason you can not be a US president until you are 35. What age do you start to take people more seriously. For example you get a new boss at work and he is 18. Are you going to respect his authority as much as if he were 40?

Aome people never. Some people very young. Its all about the person and their maturity level. 8 take my bosses assistant seriously but my boss? Hes a joke I have zero respect for him. A walking toddler.

Take everyone seriously regardless of their age, and try your best to take seriously those who won’t do the same for you.

When they are 20+ probably. I have 1 friend though who is 3 years younger than me and only 18 when we became friends and one of the most mature people i've ever met then already. I feel like he's older than me sometimes, so it really varies but generally I wouldn't consider someone a real adult until they are 20+.

My current age is where I take people seriously. But I end up sorta not taking them seriously.
