What actually scares you about prison? what is your main fear?

Dropping the soap.

You have no freedom in prison. That's the biggest fear being told what to do and how to do it 24/7/365.

I'm too soft, and pretty for the big house.

I did two and a half years in Russian prison (was given 10), the fears are determined by which security you’re held in.
I did 7 months in solitary confinement, a few in max, and the rest in minimum. By far, solitary was the absolute worst cause you go crazy.

Max they regulate you around so often and the situations are so hardcore that you don’t really get a chance to worry about other people. All your interactions are between guards so the fear is being brutalized. The consequences for acting up in max are too high for people to want to risk anything, and everyone is too busy with themselves.
Minimum is where you get the chance to worry about other people because they’re the guys who you don’t know about. They’re either proved to be peaceful and moved from max to min, or they’re a wildcard that’s been sitting on a lot of pent up shit.

The fear that /should/ keep people out of trouble is how much your sentence follows you. You never fully leave prison, you’re regulated for the rest of your life, they just (sometimes) remove the bars

Loss of freedom and liberty. Wasting my life away being told what to do, when to do it and how to do it by some waste of space prison officer who is nothing to me. Missing my family. No home comforts. No husband to take care of me. The list could just go on!

Getting on someone's bad side and getting hurt or killed, plus completely losing all of my freedom and having nothing to do but read a book, and having very limited interaction with my family. But, I highly doubt I'll land there anyways (knock on wood, lol), because I'm never tempted to do anything that highly illegal.

Neglect, beatings or rape or all 3. As a trans woman going to prison is a scary prospect. It's not uncommon for one of those or all 3 to happen. Or so ive read.

the food and being around poor people

Boredom. Worst thing about lockup is boredom

Being relentlessly raped and/or beaten, and also having my teeth knocked out, are the worst things I can think about prison. I don't know if you get people raping each other in Irish prisons. But I'm English, so I'd worry about some racist IRA fuckers coming after me.

It's shameful though that we can't clean up the prison systems. We pride ourselves in cleaning up society and putting away the bad guys, but the crime rate inside the prisons themselves are shocking. Drugs, theft, gangs, assaults, killings, rape. We just don't give a fuck about it because it's away from us, like crime in third world countries.

Keeping my mouth shut. This resulting in fights. And probably not having friends to sit with at lunch.

missing out on life

My worst fear is going through opiate withdrawals. I dont take opiates anymore but I'm still opiate dependent and I use kratom to keep from having withdrawals. If I cant take kratom ill suffer alot. One of my worst fears. Those body aches are brutal. For some reason I get withdrawals rly bad.

Being around scum of the earth. I'm an introvert so the boredom won't get to me, just give me a pile of books and I'm ok. But having to listen the droolings of shitbags day and night... Fuck no.

Getting fucked in my beautiful tight pussy.

Prison isn't scary.

Not getting a good night sleep .
If I don't get my sleep I would end up on death row .

Every men shoukd do some time. It purifies your soul. And appreciate life, love, freedom, goals more. I did few years for GBH to my ex and to her new bf. I came out as way better version of myself.

I don't have a problem with authority, per say, but I don't like being told what to do and I wouldn't like the structured schedule. I prefer to be all over the place and do as I please when I please, thank you.
