I told one of my boss's last week that my car broke down. I really did want to go to work that day but my back hurt sooo bad, I couldn't. It was my dog bather job that I adore because pups are the bomb, but I could hardy walk that day, let alone stand hunched over the tub all day. I still feel like shit for lying about it. That's not me.
I do these kinds of stupid lies too. The silly thing is, the actual truth about your back hurting, is enough to get out of work without raising an eyebrow. Why do we do such things lol.
