What do you consider modern times? The last two days? I already debunked the lie that Christians aren't violent in my other post, but just to add to that, they also routinely try to force their religion on any and every country they can. To suggest otherwise is laughable.
Thing is that most Christians can't come to terms that Islam has the same God as theirs and both come from the same house of Abraham. Werid how non religious people can point that out but both sides try to act like that's not the case.
As far as I'm concerned christanity has just as much blood as Islam. Both have committed various genocides to force faith by the sword. Christianity had to be forced to reform something Islam hasn't faced. But you have some Christians that wish to bring about a Christian dominated theocratic state just like the Muslims. I don't delude myself into thinking that Muslims are worse then Christians both are equally bad.
I have to disagree since even though i dont like Christianity i have a deep respect for them because they freed my country from the Caliphate in the crusades, which were meant as a measure for the quick spread of Islam through the whole continent.
I would rather live under Christian rulership than any caliphate at any time. Why?
In a Christian country you can believe in every religion you want, hell they will even allow you to build your own temple for god.
In a Muslim country your religion and way of thinking dictates how the averague population treats you, making any church other than a mezquite is fucking haram.
In a Christian country you're not forced to hear loud preachings, wear jihab, go out acompanied by a man...
In a Muslim country it is, plus the punishments and the death penalty, pretty serious shit that scares the entire population and think it's a pilar for their moral values

Then what was the dark ages and the inquisition I really doubt Christians allowed people to freely worship. The only reason why Christians arent complete rabid nut jobs now like Muslims is because of reforms that was thankfully forced. Islam is still the same as it was from its foundation to now and that's why they are a problem. Are you from Southern Europe as far as I understand weren't they under the North African caliphate for 500 years? As a note the west is mainly successful because its secular looks at Christian nations like most parts of Africa Latin America and even Eastern Europe and you will find those aren't places you want to live in because they are almost similar to Islamic ones.

Now, dont go around mentioning the "hurr durr but the cults in...-" No. The cults in china are variations of Christianity with mental people in them, their institution is completely different, thats why they are also called a "Cult"
"B-But in Nig-" The people at those countries are constantly at war, people angry, high on hard drugs and constantly fighting for control one another, the fact that they murder (again, also against muslims only) (i said "muslims only" because i was talking about the christian crimes in africa) mean nothing anymore since they are poisoned by power and control. Their casualties in those "crusades" reached 155 casualties.
Now, from 2014 to 2017 Islam commited 20 lethal terror attacks which resulted in 331 deaths. Not in underdeveloped countries but in Western Civilization and Europe itself.
As i said, Islam isn't a religion of peace, Christianity isn't perfect nor is it good. I dont think any religion is good to be honest, just to make things clear, I am an Atheist, i dont believe in the need for a religion to develop a sense for "Good and bad", i dont believe in any god that hasn't been proven exists or a thereafter.
Also African Warlords dont kill in the name of god, but in their own benefit, lots of them turned out to be "Satanic" and when some of them (like general butt naked) retired went to seek salvation in god. And to preach.
And yes, my country was under muslim caliphate for more than 500 years.
I dont know in which part of the world you live where Christians instead of preaching in churches or in the street EXTORSIONATE you to turn Christian, but ok.
