    Disowned my family, got in my truck with an empty gas tank and less than $50 to my name, and left for good with no safety net, no plan and nothing but God on my side.

        That's a horrible thing to say. My "family" are alcoholic, physical, mental and sexual abusers. I hope they rot in hell.

            Not really. I fled a toxic environment. It was that or wind up eventually killing myself, so pretty easy choice.
