What “lesson or moral” does the movie “lord of the rings” teach you?

Never seen it, but wondering what the whole point or moral of the story is??

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

That you should never accept a ring from an old man. It’s always more trouble than it’s worth.

It has taught me that a LOTR marathon requires at least 10 hours of your time! :D

Even the smallest person can make the biggest difference. The main character that saves the world is a Hobbit. Short, hairy, peaceful folk. The complete opposite of a typical hero.

      You're talking about Sam right?

Yes. I'm referring to all of the hobbits in the movies. Frodo, sam, Merry, Pippin, and Bilbo all contributed greatly. Mostly Sam though but only because Frodo beared the burden of the ring directly.

LOTR taught me to stay off the road and make your own path. Also that trees are wise and are our friends. Also that power can make anybody go mad.

I dunno, I haven't seen it in a while, and when I have seen it I'm only paying half attention.

I would say that it teaches me that hairy feet and toes are cool.
