Okay, you say that the feminazis are still fighting for equality in their own way right? To my understanding, the feminazis are the ones claiming to be superior to men, no? If you’re claiming one sex is superior, is that equality?
The Westboro Baptist Church is Christian and they’re pretty loud right? Louder than the normal Christians? Should the remainder of the good Christians break away and call themselves something different? Hitler claimed his moment was Christian and he was loud as hell with all the people his group tortured, raped and murdered, does that mean the rest of the Christians should’ve broke away from that and started something new and called themselves something different? In my opinion, no. Just because some mentally deranged assholes are trying to pollute what you’re fighting for doesn’t mean the majority of the group is like that.
If I were a loud opinionated feminist in real life, I would get hell. I would still be called a man hater, so I keep it quiet. Rational ones are most likely to prove your opinion of feminism wrong by being quiet and respectful by saying “I’m a feminist and I don’t agree with your opinion of me.”
I remember one time I told my boyfriend just this one sentence “I’m a feminist.” That’s all I said. You know what he responded with? “Oh so you hate men. You’re a bitch.” and he was pissed just by me saying that. That’s why sane women aren’t more vocal.
All you have to do is google search respectable feminists, and you will fine tons. The loud ones may be the loudest and they’re not the majority. As you said with the Malcom X vs Martin Luther King statement, one was peaceful and one was violent. One worked and the other didn’t. The peaceful one is what the majority of feminists are. You say both Malcom and Martin were fighting for equality, but does killing white people represent equality for all races? I don’t think so. I think Malcom was a mentally deranged pissed off lunatic who lashed out because he thought the peaceful movement wouldn’t be good enough.
Just because there are a few bad eggs in the carton doesn’t mean you throw the entire carton of eggs away and get a new one, right? You just set the bad eggs aside and don’t pay attention to them. That’s what you should do.
And I don’t know what you consider loud, but to me it’s the ones with an audience that looks up to them.
But if you still disagree with me after all this, let’s say we agree to disagree. I respect your opinion but I’d like for you to respect mine and acknowledge that the loud ones are the minority and that there are plenty of respectable feminists in this world who are still fighting for what the movement was supposed to be.
Also acknowledge that there are radicals in every single group but no one tells them they need to break away and call themselves something different.
