Weird that it bothers me that my boyfriend is close to his sister

So it mainly started bothering me one day when I went over to his house to visit him and his family. I went back into the gaming room with my boyfriend and his sister and they started telling funny stories about experiences they had together, and it bothered me. I felt upset that she seemed to know him better than me. They seemed so close and it upset me. I want to know him like no one else and I'm so upset she knows him better. Is this normal?

    Well, it's his sister, they've been together forever. It's great that they get along, but I don't think you should be jealous because I'm sure that eventually, if the relationship you have with him continues, you'll probably have your own inside jokes and intimate moments to share.

    I understand how you feel completely! I feel the same with my boyfriend and his sister and even his family. I feel so left out because they are talking about things and i cant join in or laugh about it cause i have idea what they are talking about. Its nice that him and his sister are close but i understand where you are coming from.
