I smoked weed for years. I was a major pot head This was from 1995 to 2005 I literally smoked Every day. Then I got married had kids and quit. Fast forward to 2017 I decide to smoke again. I buy a new glass pipe and take like 3 hits. I get pretty high it lasts a few hours and I go to bed. The next night I take probably 6 or 7 hits and everything goes to hell. Insane head rush. Pounding heart. Chest pain. Really bad shaking in my legs. I eventually call 911 and get checked out. I didn't tell them I smoked. They check me in the ambulance my heart rate was 140 BP was a little up but nothing crazy. I refuse to go to the hospital and they let me go. Eventually this passes. I really thought I was going to die. I had to wake my wife up from bed it was so bad. I didn't clean my pipe before I smoked. Could that be the reason? Did I smoke too much? Did I have bad weed? The night before I didn't react like that. I never reacted like this back in the day.

    Must have health issues that are compounded by the weed use.

    Quit drinking and smoking cigarettes but smoke weed once a day as a routine. You will feel a lot better.

    You probably just got really super high and then freaked out. Take it easy, however much you smoked 10+ years ago, your tolerance is at the level of somebbody whos never smoked before.

      Ya I think I smoked too much. I took like 8 hits in 5 mins.

    Quite common, i had to quit smoking 10 years ago because my heart would go nuts and i felt like i couldn't breathe (panic attacks) everytime i smoked u less i was really drunk already. so sad, now i drink alot more than i used to when i smoked. I know several people this has happened to too. Theres actuall and ancient really long thread on bluelight.org about this.
