A guy I'm crazy about walked up to me and told me that he loves how often I change my hair to which I replied thanks. The thing is I'm black and changing my "hair" is basically me just switching from one weave to another. I felt like some sort of imposter, is it normal that I just didn't tell him I weave it out? Guys how well informed are you on the weave issue? Do you notice a weave from real hair?
When you add foreign objects to the area, and or modify the area beyond purposes of functionality (eg. putting long hair back or up which all so work in conjunction with modest dress). By definition abnormal is the deviation from that of which is typical. Like if I had long hair I'd wrap it as well, styling hair is lame. If people like me because of my hair I would feel pretty shallow, same with dressing is easier to wear plain clothes like a thobe, or robe.
