PREACH. From what I've read, the government adding it to the water after the depression bc no one could afford the dentist. And the amount of fluoride in the water hasn't been altered since. Pretty fffuuucckkked.
I don't know about other countries, but it wasn't added to water in Australia during the 1930's depression. Some water authorities began adding it in the late 70's: I know that, because I took fluoride tablets when I was pregnant in the early 70's to give the baby a chance at good teeth.
