It's very normal. It seems like every other post on here is about water sports (not that I am complaining I found the site looking for someone to validate my pee fetish.) I say (much like I always say when I respond to a post) tell your man and see if he is willing to give it a go. Personally I think he is one lucky guy I only wish my lady was so outgoing and willing to experiment. The worst thing that can happen is that he isn't interested but, I am willing to bet he would at least try it for you if he was serious about you.
