War of the cheeses!

In your opinion, what is the best cheese? I would make this a poll, but there are just so many different types of cheese.

Is It Normal?

        • Was that sarcasm? Hmm, probably not actually, we don't know each other extremely well, although I still found Zombies comment really funny:P.

And if you are actually wondering who I am, I'm a fruit!:P Of the yellow variety! It's probably obvious who I am now, no:P?

  • This is impossible to answer. There are way too many good cheeses.

Asiago, Sharp Cheddar, Baby Swiss, Gouda, Coby Jack, Havarti, Parmesan, Dubliner, and so on.... smoked cheeses are really good too.

  • First beer and now cheese. Is someone playing with me? :P

I'll need a moment to steady myself and have a good think before talking about cheese. However... I WILL BE BACK!

    • Ha, I'm not responsible for the beer one! And I really didn't have you pegged as a cheese guy:O! Interesting:P.

      • You must be kidding! Cheese is my God. Anyone who has talked to me about it here knows that I could talk the hind leg off a field of donkeys. It's so important to me, I'm taking a whole hour to think of my answer to you. :P

        • Wow, I'm actually really shocked:O! I don't think I've ever seen you talk about cheese (at least I can't remember it:S). But high five!:D I'm glad to see someone giving this the proper time and thought that cheese deserves:')! Haha.:P

          • Okay, I have thought! And now I return! This was *so* hard. I have decided to allow myself three choices (:P to the OP. When it comes to cheese, I don't follow the rules).

#1 Cheshire - from my birth county! When you bake it, it doesn't melt. It goes, well, there isn't a word for it. It turns into a new type of food that only people who've had Cheshire on toast will ever know about.

#2 Reblochon - Amazing stuff! Aged in a cave or a cellar, it has to be "turned" every so often. That's how much love goes into it. And you can't have tartiflette without reblochon.

#3 Red Windsor - Cheese with wine marbled into it. It's genius!

I'm sorry Cheddar. I'm sorry Gorgonzola. I'm so sorry, Camembert and Caerphilly and Manchego. And Lancashire, I'm sorriest of all about you. :/

            • Haha, it's actually really amusing to see you talk about cheese, I honestly didn't know you were so passionate about it! You know your stuff:P!

And since it's you, I guess I may be able to let you break the rules a little bit. It is a war after all:P! Although, you're lucky I'm letting you choose three, since you've said something sort of evil to me today ¬_¬! I guess this could be part of my revenge, though:P.

  • I love cheese! I try not to eat too much though. I think my choices are generic but that's OK. Muenster, Cheddar, provalone, Jack, Colby Jack, pepper Jack, Swiss, blue, cream, parm, mozz, Romano, ummm there's some fancier ones but I forget which. :D Cheeeese!!
