I am an 18 year old boy who will be going to college soon and am constantly desiring to be a girl just because I think it's unfair not to know what it feels like to be a girl. Is this normal? does anyone else feel this way?
hmm, There's nothing wrong with wanting to be a girl or transexualism or anything...
but let me fill you in. You lucky lucky lucky sod. You were born a guy! sure, you get "man flu" *cough* yeah right *cough* now and then, some girl asks you to lift a heavy box with your natural strength and you don't live as long usually, and you can't multitask very well, but boohoo thats nothing! Being a woman is absolutely shit! For a start, every month you wake up blood every where, blood blood blood for up to a week everywhere. then it's time to go to the Gyno again, yay cold metal poked up you, lovely! oh and while your at it doctor, squash and torture my breasts please too! when theres probably never going to be anything wrong with you. drive back from gyno, some male cuts you up because "women can't drive" you get home, neanderthal man thinks you should cook, clean, make babys, have sex so it's good for him but he'll give up before it's good for you, not very good anyway. Nothings changed in society's norms, not really. Oh what else, PMS, Breast cancer, cerviacl cancer, pregancny, oh and birth is a bitch too. sometimes hours and hours of screaming agony for something that YOU will have to care for while man goes down the pub. Baby throws up over you. smells bad, cries. Hubby comes home drunk, thinks you look bad. men think you're weak, delicate and just a nice peice of azz. you go to work/college, get sexually harrassed by some guy who thinks he's god's gift to women, jeez how desperate is he? you're not that hot, and he certainly isn't! If you chose not to get a man, you're a spinster. not a cool bachelor, but some ugly woman who can't geta boyfriend. You go out, but oh no you're a woman, you can't have as many alcohol units, and what to wear? you can't go out in THAT! It's too low you're a slut. Not THIS, too high thats frumpy! If you look to nice, you'll get raped. You got to be very careful with fashion in gernal all the time. never wear the same thing everyday not like a guy can. You HAVE to smell nice. No B.O not acceptable. Gotta wear make up too. not too much though or you're a slag, but a freak if you wear none.
Not all pretty and perfect and sparkly and glamourous as you think the female life is. It's not all dresses and flowers. and highpitched squeeky voices heels and max factor mascara. It's shit.
You wanted to know what it was like so I told you. By all means parade around your sister's bra and panties, thongs, skirts, wear make-up, talk in a high pitch voice. Go for it. a lot of guys feel that way, it's normal. But you think it's unfair that you never knew what it feels like to be a girl. Well there you go la vie en femme in all it's raw glory. You dodged a bullet in the womb mate, you really did.
Being a guy is much harder. Guys are expected to achieve more than girls. It is just unfair. Girl do not make it easier. Most American teenage girls only think about being popular, having sex with guys, and being pretty. It's not fair I agree. Totally normal.
I think your ok, and very normal, lot's of guys all ways tell me they think the same thing, see if you can find a girl the you can open up too, and share this with, she can help you dress up, and maybe if you want, find a boy to play with you both, you know some one that is Bi, and would be open to this. it can be alot of fun playing together, nothing wrong with it at all, enjoy!, besides, boys have such cool parts, it is so fun to play with them,I love it when to boys are not hung up on touching each other.

Same here, very entertaining, lol! On the other hand I am MtF, and a girlfriend told me she didn't think it was fair that I get to enjoy the good parts of being feminine and skip the bad parts. Get to have breasts, can wear heels and skirts, makeup, lotion, perfume, lipstick; no PMS, no period, no drunken husband, etc. Life is short, do what makes you happy.

id say its normal to be curious but you shouldnt be obssesed with the thought
Be realistic. You are probably too tall, too muscular, have large facial features, etc. Most guys who change gender look like a guy in drag, and it looks pathetic. Dress up when you feel the need, but don't try and be something you're not.
It's extremely hard to be a girl. I appreciate women and have deep respect for them because I could never live that life. It's just way too stressful, much more than being a man.
Yes it's normal. We live in an uber-feminist woman's world. Being a man nowadays is a liability. Unless you live in an Islamic country then it's better to be a man but definitely not in the west and least of all in America.
Everyone wants to be a girl. Even girls. absolutely 100%% normal. No but in all seriousness, maybe you just identify with the feminine. Let yourself express who you are. You don't have to be all manly and sh*t if you don't want to. Besides, if you're worried about being gay or something, there's nothing gayer than being manly.
I don't know if it's normal... but I feel the same way. I'm a girl who really wants to be a guy. I'm straight, but I really think I'd be happier as a man than a woman.
WEEELLL... is not exacly normal..., do you want to be a girl for "what reason"?.. is it to love men?, is it to fell cute?,, is it to wear a dress?... i dont know, i just know that is normal to feel "diferent" at that age... just try to find a reason
