New years 2008 I walked 25 miles from downtown Nashville to my house after getting too drunk and forgetting what hotel number I was staying at with friends. Crazy night
That's an average speed of nearly 3mph, which isn't bad at all, particularly if you spent the first couple of hours basically staggering in a zig-zag and covering a lot more ground than you would have in a straight line.
Never mind - another cautionary tale to tell the kids. Not that they'll pay any attention, of course.
I just follow3d the train tracks. Me and a friend of mine got in a fist fight over my jacket. I just remember I looked up in a drunken haze and he was wearing my jacket in 20 degree weather. I was in a short sleeve shirt. I was like yo colton man I need my jacket im gonna die out here. He was an angry drunk and said if you want ur jacket you have to get punched in the face. Dont remember what happened much but I ended up connecting with a good one and then magically had my jacket on. He ran off. I didnt know what hotel number we were staying at. The night just got crazier after that. I didnt own a cellphone. I just said fuck it im wasting time I need to start walking immediately.
