Meh, I kind of think violence can be a good thing. Someone starts on you and you respond to that and then it results in conflict then aslong as it doesn't leave perminent damage, it ends with a few cuts, scrapes, and bruises, and you move on.
Violence in response to violence can fix a ton of issues between people. People like to say that responding in violence to violence just makes more violence but I don't fully agree with what that implies.
Take war for example. Someone initiates the violence and then another responds in violence to prevent the initial violence from continuing which will then make there have no need for the violent response, which makes the violence stop.
I think there's too much expectation not to respond in violence when in reality violence can stop violence from continuing and it's the initial violence we should be focusing on.

Nope. Not saying violence is the only way of ending something, just that it can be.
