Very mild illusions or hallucinations....

i've been recently having this problem where when i stare at a wall and it appears to be shifting downward or tiles appear to become elongated, also if i stare at a painting or something if appears to get bigger in size then contracting in size. i think it's probably normal..but just wanna make sure. i also suffer from severe depression and anxiety, is it connected with it????

i think that this might have something to do with your anxiety.

I feel terrible for you and I'm worried about why you're depressed. this happened to me when my mom killed herself and blamed me, I tortured myself mercilessly, physical pain was the only thing that could relieve me. things would get bigger and smaller, and "warp." I think I tried to lie to myself and tell myself I liked it, I'm not sure, it was so long ago and it was in my head. I think I tried to make it happen by looking at things, I wanted to be crazy, I told myself it was cool and unique and as soon as I wanted it, it went away. find something else to focus on that isn't dangerous, maybe get an opiate like heroin or morphine and do enough research to know how to do it safely. try and only focus on something you love but don't get obsessed. I'm so glad I'm over that shit.

I doubt it has anything to do with your anxiety or depression. I have also suffered from depression and did not encounter this. I would agree with the comment that it is due to lack of sleep. It could also be due to sudden changes from a dark environment to a brighter one. I don't think it is anything to worry about but if it is causing you major problems get it checked out :D.

    LOL.

sorry, i know its not funny to laugh at a depressed person.

but that last line was just a kicker. an absolute KICKER. you're asking if mild to moderate, occasional hallucinations are connected to SEVERE depression and anxiety?

i need to go grab a beer.
