    Banning and automatically deleting from the internet all portrait-format videos would get rid of at least 99% of TikTox videos, which would definitely make the world a better place.

    We have a much greater field of vision horizontally than we have vertically. How is your peripheral vision to the top and bottom? That's why movie screens and TV screens are horizontal.
