Is it normal that i am really annoyed/ hung up on being tall enough and having the right 'look' to be a model, but not being skinny enough. It's not that i actually want to be a model, it's more that i want people people to think 'wow she could model'. and i have no interest at all in wanting to be like a plus-size model, i'm too thin for that anyway, and it just doesn't hold the same appeal,however pretty/attractive they are, they're just to 'real'

    I agree with the comment about getting away from the mirror like I agree with your own headline: vain & stupid. Ha! You know & have framed your whimsy for what it is.

    We all have quirky wishes, conceits & dislikes about ourselves. So that is normal. Being honest about them & putting them in perspective, as you've done, is better than normal.

    There is no chance in hell anyone will think you could model if you are not thin enough. Lose the weight or let your bizarre, vain fantasy go, it is simple as that. You don't have "the look" obviously.

    ok maybe that is a bit vain and stupid, but i think a perfectly normal way to feel. if the media puts pressure on normal height girls to look skinny like models, then it must put twice as much pressure on tall girls to look skinny. i'd also like to point out the comment above me seems to have been written by a man who is obviously insecure about his height AND misunderstands the difference between 'not fat' and model skinny

    If you are tall and not skinny there is no way you could resemble a model period. Tall girls look gross unlees theyre skinny
