You were probably on the rebound when you had these one night stands and affairs and stuff. With one night stands there is no emotion involved and the affairs was probably just to get a thrill out of life. With the first girl there was some sort of foundation where you gave and recieved love, and because there was a strong attraction between you two which you have not had with the rest of these 'relationship' then she is obviously the one that will leave a mark in your heart
