    I've got a friend who is a very successful author, he's does this during his long writing sessions, he's not concerned about the laziness of moving (that is kind of lame if thats why you do it) but rather he wants to stay in his study and keep his mind on writing rather then trek across the house in the bright light and get distracted. so i vote normal.

      I do it because I have a small bladder I don’t want to get up every ten minutes when I choose to be hydrated that day. I also do it when I’m focused on studying so my mind doesn’t wonder.

        getting bladder help from medicine could be good too, idk. But ya sounds like a normal thing to do in your situation.
