Honestly there isn't really much of a writing style. I mean yes, subject matter, you can pick up on like Holzman said. But finding out the way someone writes I don't really see since online everyone types and thus has the same writing style. If we each had to write our things in our own hands then yes I think I could pick up on that, but since we don't I can't. Although I'm not saying that it is not possible to, I'm just saying that I can't.
What about those who try to write in a manner others can understand and those who only seem to post for their own amusement, because their posts are almost totally illiterate? Wouldn't you consider that a style of writing?
There are those who only post sex related quips and those who sincerely try to give an honest, intelligent opinion.
There are those who contribute, those who criticize and those who just want attention, without helping or hurting at all.
I would consider all these to be particular styles of writing, no matter the content.
Not trying to be critical, but only pointing out another view of the many different styles, I've seen.
But wouldn't that be subject matter though? I mean like shuggy usually (not always) talks about pedophilia, isn't that subject matter as opposed to writing style? I get what you're saying but I feel like writing style is a sort of thing that is I don't know how to describe it. But it's something personal, like the picture that the OP put up, that's somebody's way of communication. That's their own personal way. Subject matter isn't really a personal style of expression it's just what somebody talks about.
