Urge to punch pregnant women

Whenever I encounter a pregnant woman, I have the immediate urge to punch them in the stomach as hard as I can

Is It Normal?

  • if you experience a mental illness like OCD which can include "intrusive thoughts" (these are actively upsetting to the sufferer and they do not wish to actually enact them) then this can be a common symptom. not "normal" but indicative of something out of your control. if you ACTUALLY want to do this, i hope you never encounter another human being anytime soon

  • This isn’t normal at all, have you asked yourself why you feel this? Is it for the physical sensation or to inflict pain and potential miscarriage? Either way I would recommend seeing a therapist to try and remedy it.

  • "[22] If men quarrel, and one strike a woman with child, and she miscarry indeed, but live herself: he shall be answerable for so much damage as the woman's husband shall require, and as arbiters shall award. [23] But if her death ensue thereupon, he shall render life for life. [24] Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, [25] Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe."

    • How's it feel to be in a cult?

      • It feels better than it would feel to not believe in the truth.

          • The time of judgement will come before your supposed mass extinction.

            • I mean its science. Our sun is a star. Stars eventually die and when they die they expand, eich will cook us. We are perfect distance from sun right now. Any closer we cook. Once the sun finishes expanding it implodes turning into a black hole if i recall accurately. At any rate we will be dead as a species by then because of well being cooked

    • Have you burned all your poly-cotton shirts yet? (Leviticus 19:19)

Have you eaten any meat containing any blood or fat lately? (Leviticus 3:17)

In fact, have you eaten any non-kosher meat of any sort? (Leviticus 11:4-7)

Or are you one of those Christians who believes that your eternal, unchanging, omniscient deity suddenly changed his mind a couple thousand years ago, so now you've got a pass to pick and choose which bits of your book of supposedly everlasting, holy truths you need to pay attention to, and which verses you can just wave away as no longer applicable?

      • Leviticus 19:19 is of questionable translation: "Keep ye my laws. Thou shalt not make thy cattle to gender with beasts of any other kind. Thou shalt not sow thy field with different seeds. Thou shalt not wear a garment that is woven of two sorts." Vs "Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee."

The fat and blood were meant to be sacrificed to God, but as Jesus was the last sacrifice, the rule is obsolete.

Jesus himself said your last statement need not be followed.

        • Your Bible supports the following:

Sex slavery of women, human trafficking, remarrying, cannibalism, murder of people who have sex before marriage, eating pork can send you to hell, buying children as slaves...it goes on and on

It's disgusting and you can't pick what you want to believe and what you don't want to, it's all in the Bible. Every horrible act you can think of is promoted in the Bible. The newer Bibles will leave that all out because they want people to buy into religion.

It's a really messed up cult.

          • The Bible states multiple times that it is against fornication and adultery, slavery was the norm for an extremely long amount of time, it only supports remarriage after death (when marriage ends), it says not to consume human flesh, and Jesus overruled the rules about unclean animals. Can you make an argument that isn't disproven with a mere Google search now?

  • Sounds like you have an odd fixation with pregnant women and babies. Maybe speak to a therapist?

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • No that's wrong for you to do that.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • You're just helping the pregnancy along, should be fine.

  • Babies are annoying little shits and it’d be kinda funny to see them lose the baby they’ve been waiting for but it’s not normal to actually do it.
