Be proud of who you are. And I don't mean proud of your color or race - being proud of that is like being proud of being born right-handed. You had no choice in the matter, and you did nothing at all to deserve any credit for it. But be proud of your heritage and the history and accomplishments of your ancestors and fore-fathers. And of the PERSON you are.
Asian is most definitely NOT ugly. And while I'd never initially use the term "gook-face" myself, since you said it, I'll say that I've seen a lot of really beautiful "gook" faces.
You were made, like all of us, in the image of ultimate beauty. And you should carry yourself confidently and with a humble pride.
The only infirmity in this situation belongs to those who would dare think themselves better than you just because you don't look exactly like them.

I can live with what I have but I can't go party or celebrate for being given something repugnant to the eyes of the world. I try not to satisfy racists by regrouping myself only with my own "kind".
