Unpopular opinion : I dont understand why people tip waiters

    US restaurants pay their waiters peanuts so theyre forced to get tips to earn a proper wage. In pretty much every other country waiters earn a proper (minimum) wage and tips are purely at the customers discretion for excellent service.

      Earthy,
      They pay dishwashers, buss boys, hostesses, prep cooks, janitors, and cooks crap wages also.
      But everyone tips the poor waiter.
