I have written that vacines madates are legal and cited the previous supreme court rulings and other basis.
I don't force anyone to get a vaccine. They are free to do what they wish. But, those who exercise their right to not get vaccinated also need to accept the consequences that they may not be allowed to participate in various public activities or hold certain jobs (there is no right to have a specific job).
Public Health overrides certain individual rights... (so says the US Supreme Court) and all rights are balanced against the needs of society. Absolute freedom in individual rights leads to anarchy (so says the US Supreme Court - in many of their rulings on rights; and I agree with that).
People are free to chose what they want to do; but, they are also responsible for the results of those choices; and I detest people who complain that they were treated the way that any reasonable person would say was the natural result of the choices they made.
I also appreciate people who take a few minutes to actually research the law and legal rulings on various topics. If more people would do that there would be a whole lot less controversy; and also a more effective movement to revise laws that could be better.
I really appreciate the people who work to improve themselves and their situation...
