I'm definitely not one to talk on this because I'm frequently terribly confused about my sexuality. It's so fucking hard to figure this shit out. You might be open to experimentation aka bi-curious, might be bisexual or you might be physically attracted to men ie recognizing their looks, but without being sexually attracted to them.
As I'm sure you know, you're not unique in being uncertain about your sexuality.
More than half a century ago, Alfred Kinsey's research led him to conclude that human sexuality is not as straightforward as people wanted to believe. He came up with the concept of the sexuality spectrum, and he also realised that people are not necessarily fixed at a single point on the spectrum for the whole of their lives.
This fundamental truth isn't as widely known as it should be. People prefer to keep life simple, and we like to think we understand who we are. If we can slap a concise definition of our sexual orientation on our foreheads, that makes life a lot easier for ourselves and the people around us. Unfortunately, people just aren't that simple.
I hope you're not beating yourself up over your uncertainty. You are who you are.
Um help I keep getting gay thoughts but I know I’m straight
