Is it weird for two (straight) friends to get under the same bed cover watching movies?
Which of the options is the weirdest?

What's weird about it at all? If its cold enough to require a cover to stay warm and comfortable... then its entirely common regardless of sex, age, etc. between friends.
I think it's normal for two guys or girls but depends on the circumstances. Like are they at a hotel somewhere for the night but only have one bed no homo and want to watch a movie? Then that's normal imo for guys or girls. But if you're two guys at their place or yours I think it's probably safe to assume if you're not gay or bi then that's not normal. Girls however at their place or yours is still pretty normal
