Twilight is just proof that shiny things attract idiots. I love the harry potter books so much more; have read both, moaners. Meyers' books were all so fickle an "Oh god, I love you so much Jacob. But I love Edward too! I don't know which to go for... Durrr... Edwards shiney so I love him 8D". Rowling's series is an intellectual series, with eloquent plots, various clever settings, smart themes well explored, and emotive/intelligent use of language. Meyers' most eloquent feature is the longest word in it.
