Turned on by violent death, including idea of my own

Every once in a while, I feel aroused by the idea of me dying a violent death. I like to lay on my bed and pretend I'm dead. Laying on my stomach, I like to pretend someone just cut my head off, like in Resident Evil 4. Laying on my back, I like to pretend aliens abducted me and sucked out my internal organs.

I don't understand this; I'm not suicidal, nor am I a violent person. Any reason I might have this connection? Is it some brain circuitry or hormones that get mixed up?
