I've never lost a political bet in my life, and I'll tell you this, if either Biden or Trump got shot from now until the election and survived it I would put money on them getting in. It swings a sizeable minority of the populace to vote for you. And normally in elections of this caliber it's not that many percentage points you need to shave off your opponent to win.
