  • You seriously don't know anything neither about me nor Latin America. Bolivia had a coup, indeed, performed by then-president Evo Morales in 2016 when he didn't respect the referendum result that would have allowed him to re-run for an indefinite amout of terms (he had already been reelected two times). The people said no in the referendum and he ran again anyway! Isn't that anti-democratic and disrespectful?? Plus, in this present year, there were elections in Bolivia, and the MAS (Morales' party) was losing to Mesa, the opposition candidate, and then the counting of votes was stopped and when it was restored Morales was winning by far! How convinient hum? This, then, started riots in the streets against Morales and the OAS auditored the votes and found fraud that benefited Morales. So he resigned and current president Jeanine Áñez took office, and she was approved by both the opposition and Morales' represtatives, so what a cruel right-wing coup that was, hum?
I don't know what are you talking about when you mention Brazil, Bolsonaro was elected by the majority of the people in a democratic election, no need to say he's been doing great things for his country in spite of his controversial personality, and don't even get me started on Uruguay. Uruguay had a financial and social crisis in 2002 during Jorge Batlle's administration due to an animal illness from Brazil contaminating meat production and thus cutting exports, and a financial crisis in Argentina that caused an historic decrease in demand of exports and tourism that caused banks and bussinesses to close and left a lot of unemployed people, but a year before the left took office poverty was already decreasing at a fast pace and middle class was growing back. The left didn't do anything for the middle class in Uruguay, in any case, they just put a progressive tax on income that took money away from their pockets. So yeah, you don't have a fucking clue what you're talking about. Please do America a favor and keep your vote to yourself.

    • You haven't said anything about Brazil, though. I'd love to hear your take on it.

(HAHA OK, America - you people will never get it. Enjoy your ignorance.)

Bolsonaro is just as racist and misogynistic as Trump. Or worse, he had one of our newcomers in leftist politics killed.

AND I'M STILL AMERICAN AND WILL VOTE FOR WHOMEVER ISN'T A FUCKIN' ASSHOLE.

      Cheers!

I ask again: Have you ever been poor?

      • Plus I just read that shit you wrote about Uruguay and what the fuck are you even saying? Uruguayan government is still leftist, it's been so since 2005, they've just switched to the right-wing and that president hasn't even taken office. And you know what? Neither you nor I have a say in that decision as we are not from Uruguay and we don't live there. It's the same thing with you and America. Please stop being so ignorant and read something once in a while.

      • Wanna hear my take on Brazil? I'd love to hear your take on anything that I've just said and by the way I'd like to hear your take on Venezuela and Cuba. Bolsonaro didn't get anyone fucking killed what the hell are you talking about?
So you wanna know if I've ever been poor, yes, I have. I was born in a poor Latin American country (all of them are poor but anyways) and my family lived in fucking poverty as do the majority of the population (cause what Americans consider poor is Latinos middle class). You don't have an idea what life in those countries is like, and having been born in a developed country and probably still living in one, you should think twice about moaning about your supposedly nameless country and applauding leftist dictators, those who destroyed entire countries and with them, people's lives. Don't you have a tiny bit of empathy? Think about those in Venezuela who are left to die of hunger by Maduro's regime. You think that's good? Is that what you want for America? South America is drifting away from the left, from poverty, and you want to become South America? Please please think it through.
