  • I seriously can't believe someone would even consider voting for Sanders. Yeah Trump's got his things, no president is utterly perfect, but even though media will tell you he's the devil (and I'm not saying he's God), economy is good, our foreign affairs are good (America's respected and even feared internationally, and yes, America IS a country and a most beautiful one), and Trump's done very good things in spite of his failures. He's done more than Obama in his two terms. And, most importantly, even though Bernie would never accomplish half the stuff he proposes as America wouldn't let him, you can't begin to realize the harm a socialist president would do to this country. It's as easy as checking where have Bernie's plans worked in the world... you'll be finished pretty soon. And moreover, what the fuck are you doing wanting to vote in a country you don't live in??? IT IS ABSOLUTELY NONE OF YOUR BUSSINESS AND YOU SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO.
PD: We're building the wall!!! (Which good old boy Obama started)

    • "It's as easy as checking where have Bernie's plans worked in the world..." if YOU do it then you'll see it all ends up in right wing coups.

So you're saying an American citizen shouldn't vote then? Nor be concerned about the people living in wretched conditions in the United States? How patriotic of you.

America is a fuckin' continent - comprised of North, Central and South.

      • Goddamit you shouldn't vote. You are an American citizen? Then have the smallest respct and decency of keeping your passport in the closet and let those who will suffer the consequences of their vote, whatever it might be, be the ones to decide. You're in another country! Why vote somewhere else? That's not at all the spirit of democracy! And this is coming from someone who strongly disagrees with the American electoral system. Even though I would've voted for Trump, I didn't dislike Hillary, if we had a good system Hillary would and should be president as she did win the popular vote, which is the only thing that fucking matters in a democracy! But with Hillary it was different, she was a moderate liberal, but not at all a socialist. She believes in capitalism as the only system that can lead humanity to well-being. But Bernie? I cannot believe that people who live in the first world, in prosperous countries that had been led there by market economies and small but intelligent government intervention can be willing to give up all that for RESENTMENT TOWARDS TRUMP! Just look at Latin America! They are beautiful countries with beautiful people that have been trashed by socialist economies and corruption, and most of all, the cultural damage they have left behind them. Not to like Trump, I understand, not to like the Republican Party, I understand too, but socialism is way past the line. Please reconsider.

Btw, right wing coups? Yes I know there have been right wing coups, but against leftist governments? Please detail when and where they've happened. Maybe if you're talking about western Europe, but in all of the Americas I doubt it.

        • I'm talking exactly about Latin America - coups in Brazil and more recently in Bolivia. Uruguay hasn't had a coup but when all three presidents were leftists the poor were closer to middle class than they currently are. It's a shame that people can't see that the lowers classes have had slightly better lives in those terms than in the current far-right ones.

And, yes, I should vote! I want my family back there to also have better lives and opportunities.

          Have you ever been poor?

          • You seriously don't know anything neither about me nor Latin America. Bolivia had a coup, indeed, performed by then-president Evo Morales in 2016 when he didn't respect the referendum result that would have allowed him to re-run for an indefinite amout of terms (he had already been reelected two times). The people said no in the referendum and he ran again anyway! Isn't that anti-democratic and disrespectful?? Plus, in this present year, there were elections in Bolivia, and the MAS (Morales' party) was losing to Mesa, the opposition candidate, and then the counting of votes was stopped and when it was restored Morales was winning by far! How convinient hum? This, then, started riots in the streets against Morales and the OAS auditored the votes and found fraud that benefited Morales. So he resigned and current president Jeanine Áñez took office, and she was approved by both the opposition and Morales' represtatives, so what a cruel right-wing coup that was, hum?
I don't know what are you talking about when you mention Brazil, Bolsonaro was elected by the majority of the people in a democratic election, no need to say he's been doing great things for his country in spite of his controversial personality, and don't even get me started on Uruguay. Uruguay had a financial and social crisis in 2002 during Jorge Batlle's administration due to an animal illness from Brazil contaminating meat production and thus cutting exports, and a financial crisis in Argentina that caused an historic decrease in demand of exports and tourism that caused banks and bussinesses to close and left a lot of unemployed people, but a year before the left took office poverty was already decreasing at a fast pace and middle class was growing back. The left didn't do anything for the middle class in Uruguay, in any case, they just put a progressive tax on income that took money away from their pockets. So yeah, you don't have a fucking clue what you're talking about. Please do America a favor and keep your vote to yourself.

            • You haven't said anything about Brazil, though. I'd love to hear your take on it.

(HAHA OK, America - you people will never get it. Enjoy your ignorance.)

Bolsonaro is just as racist and misogynistic as Trump. Or worse, he had one of our newcomers in leftist politics killed.

AND I'M STILL AMERICAN AND WILL VOTE FOR WHOMEVER ISN'T A FUCKIN' ASSHOLE.

              Cheers!

I ask again: Have you ever been poor?

              • Plus I just read that shit you wrote about Uruguay and what the fuck are you even saying? Uruguayan government is still leftist, it's been so since 2005, they've just switched to the right-wing and that president hasn't even taken office. And you know what? Neither you nor I have a say in that decision as we are not from Uruguay and we don't live there. It's the same thing with you and America. Please stop being so ignorant and read something once in a while.

              • Wanna hear my take on Brazil? I'd love to hear your take on anything that I've just said and by the way I'd like to hear your take on Venezuela and Cuba. Bolsonaro didn't get anyone fucking killed what the hell are you talking about?
So you wanna know if I've ever been poor, yes, I have. I was born in a poor Latin American country (all of them are poor but anyways) and my family lived in fucking poverty as do the majority of the population (cause what Americans consider poor is Latinos middle class). You don't have an idea what life in those countries is like, and having been born in a developed country and probably still living in one, you should think twice about moaning about your supposedly nameless country and applauding leftist dictators, those who destroyed entire countries and with them, people's lives. Don't you have a tiny bit of empathy? Think about those in Venezuela who are left to die of hunger by Maduro's regime. You think that's good? Is that what you want for America? South America is drifting away from the left, from poverty, and you want to become South America? Please please think it through.
