Torturing people

Is it normal to be fascinated by how people were tortured in medieval times? I imagine what it would have been like to be in the crowd and to witness prisoners being tortured and killed as a spectacle by the European monarchs. I am fascinated to read about the old torture devices and what happened to people subjected to them. I wish there were movies I could watch of the tortures so I could see what really happened. I do not want to torture people, but I read all I can on the subject. Is there something wrong with me or is this just typical curiosity?

Is It Normal?

    • It's so scary that people can not accept that it was even used in history! Now how amazing is that?

  • U know the bull one? They put people in a bull and heat it up. They also put in some pipes so the screams sound like a bull's sound

  • As long as you do not actually desire to harm anyone, I think it's just a sort of morbid curiosity. You're fine.

  • Once when I was in LA, we went to a place where it was all set up in midevil times. We saw men on horseback jousting. They also had a display room for all the torture equipment they used to use. Horrifying.

  • just curiosity. sort of like looking at a two headed dog. you don't want to look, but you do.

if you like that stuff, you should check into the mental hospitals of the old old days. they did horrid things to those people too.
