Personally, I would never like to show my girlfriend to other men in this way. In fact, I am on the opposite side of the spectrum - if it was possible, I would make her invisible to other men as I am pathologically jealous (I know it is not normal but this is not the case here).
However, I think that your boyfriend´s preference is normal, or at least there are many men who are the same as him in this respect. If you do not mind it, then why bother?
