It's not sufficient evidence, however to use yourself as a basis for an argument, as well as using your experiences are a basis for an argument. Why can't YOU accept that your basis for an argument is flawed? You told me it's wrong for me to feel this way, I understandably ask you why you believe that and upon telling me I've pointed out that the basis for such an opinion is not proper.
It feels more like you are the one who needs to move on..
