I know a lot of people are saying OCD, and it does sort of sound like it... But could it be that it's strong superstition? I'm superstitious too like that, sometimes. Not to that degree or anything, but I do throw salt over my shoulder once in a while.
To touch something then have to touch the other side of it, IIN?
