Honestly, it is not hard to understand why people would not come out about it. I think men that are homosexual have it the worse, though. A lot of people think lesbianism in women is "hot", and so on, and you rarely see people ridicule lesbians, but homosexual men, or male homosexual in general, receives a bunch of hate, too much hate, and it is sad.

They have a choice of come out as who they are, or be ridiculed for who they are. Ofcourse, this is what a lot of them think, I believe. I don't think they realize a lot of people will accept them, however they are not wrong in thinking there are those that will also mock them for it.

2.Rejected by family
3.They don't want to be sent to a camp to get fixed
4. Homophones are existent but I believe most label the wrong people homophobic

Yeah, "all of the above" sounds about right. I still haven't come out, though that's largely because no one has ever bothered to ask. Even if everyone is very loving and accepting, the act of coming out itself is stressful and takes a lot of emotional input.
