To think about the worst thing i could do at that moment?

Sometimes, when I'm in a delicate situation, or in a position in which the next things I say effect me, such as a job interview, I CONSTANTLY think abut the worst possible thing I could do or say at that moment.

Whats worse though, is that I sometimes physically react to what I think about, so if I imagine kicking a relatives child in the head, or saying something incredibly stupid to my manager, I'll audibly groan and sometimes even cringe right in front of the person.

Is it normal?

  • Well, I don't know about it being normal, but sometimes I think about the same thing. Some times when people are trying to be helpful towards me, I'll think about head-butting them or punching them. I'm not sure why I do that either. I never act upon it, but it's just something I think about. So, it may not be normal, but at least you aren't alone in thinking that way.
