I think you should try to convince her to tell him. It's up to you guys if you want to include the part where you had sex with her, but eventually, the truth will probably come out. But if you decide to tell the part about you, then make sure you are both there for it so that it doesn't look like one of you was still trying to hide it. If this is something that really means a lot to him and he has been holding out all this time because he's thought that it meant something special, then it's not fair that he doesn't know the truth.
If she flat out lied to him and told him something along the lines of "Yes I am a virgin" then it is going to be difficult because there might be some trust issues. She needs to really let him know that she's sorry and hopefully if he loves her, he can forgive her.
