Yes! The cover art was one of my favorite things too. They really had to get your attention and pique your curiosity, unlike today where you basically already know what any given movie is about and as a result, they don't put much effort into it most of the time.
My favorite movie art was Goonies, April Fools Day, Vacation, European Vacation, Jaws, Ghoulies, and probably more... I can't remember right now. Rocky Horror Picture Show! My mom wouldn't let me ever rent that though, she said it wasn't what I thought it would be. I finally got around to watching it when I was like 25, it was definitely not what I was expecting.
I used to buy my Garbage Pail Kids at the video store. 25 cents a pack!
To really miss video rental stores?

Did you ever embarrass your mom by belting out any of the risqué song lyrics at an inopportune time?
I probably would've liked the movie a lot more had I seen it at a younger age.

We were allowed to take tapes to school for the whole class to listen to. Everyone loved the Time Warp, soooo...
Teacher ran to turn it off at Sweet Transvestite hahaha.
