As someone who loves and enjoys beer, I gotta say that you are ruining the beer! Why destroy the unique, hoppy flavor of a beer with sugar!? I can't even imagine how that tastes...
German brewmakers would be rolling over in their graves.
I have tried Süßbier and I didn't like it. I like Helles, Weizen, Dunkles and Pils.
My favorite beer is Weltenburger Anno 1050. Beer made by the oldest monastery brewery in the world, since 1050 and made according to the original recipe. That's almost 970 years of tradition...
