It is absolutely normal. A lot of those other girls are probably lying about their experiences to cover up their insecurities. At least your sister has some integrity and doesn't pretend she's done something she hasn't :)
At the age of 14, I'd say 99.9% of boys aren't worth it anyway.
I would agree with the 99.9% and add, when we find a woman that we would gladly die for, we only begin to realize how long we would wait for that woman to love us. Maybe we're crazy...
I completely agree. Remember to let your sister know that half of her friends are probably lying about being kissed anyways. Like I said I didn't get kissed until the age of 15. At the time I thought it was the end of my life, but then Freshmen year of high school I met a wonderful guy and we've been together for the past 9 years. <3 Let her know to just wait for the right guy and the right time. It always happens when you least expect it.
I think I'm about the only person I know who actually enjoyed their first kiss! I had known the girl for quite a long time, had been flirting for months and we had been dating "officially" for 1 month... and with all that waiting we both really *wanted* to kiss each other. We were sober, both in the sense that we weren't drunk and in the sense that we weren't giddy and over-excited :P We took our time, and it was a nice kiss :) I was 16 (very nearly 17), which I think is a lot later than most people. There's nothing wrong with waiting :)
I think a lot of people seem to forget just how long life is. When you are only 14 your "dating career" is only one or two years long at the very most (for a lot people it hasn't even begun yet). You've got 70 or 80 whole years until you're dead. You're only a fraction of the way into your relationship career and you don't need to worry about being forever alone when forever is such a long way away :)
To not have your first kiss before/when you're 14?
