raqeeb is wrong. Your "real" face is not the one you see in the mirror. You look different in your selfies because our faces are not perfectly symmetrical and when you take the image, your phone flips it. We are used to what we see in the mirror because we see it so often, that's why when we see images of ourselves in real life/selfies, it's so off-putting. Unfortunately everyone sees the reversed turnip in real life and not what you see in the mirror, but i've asked multiple people to look at me in the mirror and they say I don't look any different. Don't worry, nobody notices, we are just too critical of ourselves. Google "true mirrors" if you want to know more.
