To have blood in my urine

I had blood in my urine for a few days, then it stopped. I am going for tests, but I have all kinds of pains. Is it normal to be scared?? I think I'm dying.

Is It Normal?

  • Alright first off a gender is very important. If you are a female it might possibly be from your period. If its not around the time of your period you might have bladder issues. I know for men bloody urine is the sign of cancer. If you are not a female and its not around the time of your period see a doctor ASAP.

        • I do love how down to earth the Catgroove video was. Do you enjoy other types of swing music?

  • Sounds like you had a urinary infection that may, or may not, have cleared up on it's own.

  • That you are dying, I doubt. But that there is something seriously wrong, I don't doubt that.
I wouldn't wait too long to see that doctor.

  • Sounds like a urinary tract or kidney infection to me. Get treated by a doctor. I know this must be stressful and scary but hang in there and drink plenty of cranberry juice.

  • I don't think that you are dying. Do as (S)aint said and take it easy until you see your doctor.

  • You are going to the doctor, take it easy then. Don't stress and google your symptoms because if I had been dead all the time google said I should be ... xD

  • It could be that one of your nephrons has popped. They are the really small semi-permeable tubes in your kidneys that filter out your blood. You have milions in each kidney. If it one does pop, then the barrier separating blood from urine will be broken, and trace amounts of blood will enter your urine. This may be the result of strenuous activity, or some kind of stress on your body.
Do visit a doctor, but it probably isn't as serious as it looks.
