When I was young I went through a phase like that. Back then we used to rent alot of horror movies on VHS tape and on the back cover there would be a few pics of the movie and almost always they would be of the gory scenes and when I would pick up the tape cover to look at it I always made sure my fingers where not touching the back when the gory pics were.
Sounds insane but I couldn't help it. As I got older I seems to get over that easily luckily enough.
