To hate someone who won't let you see the family dog for no reason

I really doubt if your almost-ex wife is actually "uncomfortable" about letting you see the dog. It's possible that the only reason she's doing this is because she knows it hurts you. It's also possible that what she's really uncomfortable about is you being near her or wherever she's living now.

Accept that, for whatever reasons, you've lost the dog as well as your wife. I'm sure Spot will get over it, but that's not your concern anymore. Believe that the dog is mourning the loss of you from his/her life if you wish, but move on.

Unfortunately it's normal for people to be petty and cruel when it comes to divorces. If there isn't any kind of legal action available for you to take, you might have to cut this loss and forget the doggy.

I did get our Himalayan kitten, but after I moved across the country from Jackson, Mississippi to Las Vegas, Nevada. I ended up having to give up my kitten, because of my sister. My mother had promised me that I could keep my kitten, his toys, litter box, and food all in my room upstairs, but of course that promise was broken, because my sister didn't want him there.

Maybe she thinks that you are using the dog as pretence to stay in her life.

Thats so cruel. She sounds mean and petty.
