What about people that have children who will find them dead? Is it selfish of them to want their parent to live? Or selfish of them to not want to b traumatized with the image of their dead parent?
Well, where they do it is a different conversation entirely. Some people have kids and later on decide to have a sex change. That effects the children as well. Are they selfish? Or is doing what makes them happy more important? One Will always be viewed as selfish, but there is nobody more important to you than you (in most cases).
Now, if you cared about your children more than yourself and still left them father/mother less, then you could be considered selfish.
to feel this way about suicides?
