  • Have faith that it will one day be better. Try to remember this. When you're in a dark place it seems like you will never be able to get out, but you will, as long as you want to.

    You may not want to try to change things because you don't see the point, but you just have to make yourself. It can be tough to be around someone who is depressed but there are people out there that can help you. Don't feel guilty about your friends, you need to work on you right now.

    Something that has really helped me is regular exercise, even just going outside and talking a walk. I was skeptical at first and it took time but I did notice a difference.

    You may understand why you are depressed and you may not. Sometimes there is just a chemical imbalance in the brain that can be corrected by medication. If you can see a therapist and/or psychiatrist, they are professional and have dealt with this before.

    Please remember that you are valuable, that someone loves and needs you. Don't make any irreversible decisions. One day you will be so glad that you chose to live. Life has beauty even though you can't see it right now
